Our Lego Winter Village - Three and Counting

An unopened 10196 Grand Carousel. A half-built 10182 Cafe Corner. Both are highly valued, out-of-production sets, crying out to be built, displayed and blogged about. Yet we chose to buy three Winter Village sets and cut the queue. Why? What's all the fuss about three small Lego sets under a thousand pieces each, with their main buildings lacking a back wall? Well, let's take a look.

Without a doubt, the combination of Lego's three Winter Village sets is a sight to behold for any home Lego display, aesthetically superior to our impressive Lego Modular Town and magnificent Pirates Series sets. With Christmas around the corner, the Lego Winter Village is definitely the collection of the season. For more details on the composition of the individual sets - 10199 Lego Winter Village Toy Shop, 10216 Winter Village Bakery and 10222 Winter Village Post Office - please check out our project posts by clicking on the words. For now, please enjoy the pictures in the extended post! :)

    1. The Lego Winter Village sets (now there are four, including the 10229 Winter Village Cottage, which we recently blogged about) should be available at any Lego shop, with the exception of the first set 10199 Winter Village Toy Shop, which is out of production.

      Thanks for supporting our blog!

  2. Actually you're missing a set. There was a Holiday Train that is now discontinued: https://www.google.com/search?q=lego+10173&tbm=isch&tbo=u&source=univ&sa=X&ei=n2mrUdTGOKSkiQKIw4D4Dw&ved=0CDkQsAQ&biw=1600&bih=754
